On Initial contact prior to meeting I am happy to discuss all your cake requirements by email or telephone including the cake size needed for your number of guests, cake decoration and designs. A mood board or invitation to your Pinterest board is a great tool for this. We can discuss this via email, telephone or Video call. I will then provide you with a quote which is valid for 28 days. You can then secure your date with a £100 booking paid through the website shop rest assured your date is booked leaving you to enjoy the rest of your planning.

If you would prefer to taste our cake prior to booking you can order some cake samples from the website shop these can be collected from the studio or posted. Or you can choose to book a no commitment consultation -

If you would prefer to meet and discuss prior to securing your date our full Design and Tasting consultations in Devon are charged at £50.00. Please contact us to book this in. Consultations are by appointment only which are held  11am-7pm Mon-Sat during October-April and require minimum 2-4 weeks notice.  

I have provided wedding cakes for many national and international couples with all details being met online and telephone/Facetime so be rest assured it is not essential for a face to face consultation. Design and tasting can be done in the comfort of your own home.

For couples local to Devon we will arrange the full design and tasting consultation after saving your date. During your consultation we will confirm the design, discuss all the finer details and any table styling. I will also sketch your design while you sample up to 6 flavour tasters from our Classic OR Essence Range. Each consultation will last for approximately 1 hour. Please note If we have confirmed the design during the quoting period a face to face consultation is not required.

Your consultations will be completely relaxed and informal it will be held within the Edible Essence studio in Tamerton Foliot village located on the outskirts of Plymouth, South Devon.

Final Stage

After securing your date, design and flavours confirmed you can happily continue with the rest of your wedding planning with peace of mind. You can follow our daily stories on whats happening in the Edible Essence studio on our instagram  I will then contact you again approx 8-10 weeks before your wedding to re-confirm all details to see if there are any changes. Once confirmed you will receive your final balance invoice ready for payment 6 weeks before your wedding.
